Le communiqué s'articule autour de sujets tels que le REDD+, le développement à faibles émissions pour la croissance verte économique, l'impact de la CCNUCC, les processus internationaux sur les forêts tropicales d'Afrique Centrale, les mécanismes de financement de REDD+, la croissance économique rurale, le développement à faibles émissions, la protection des forêts tropicales, le Plan de Convergence et une eventuelle mise à jour, la coopération communautaire transfrontalière et régionale en matière de conservation de la faune, les causes de la déforestation, l'aménagement des terres d'Afrique centrale et l'engagement des partenaires dans les secteurs pour le développement optimal à faibles émissions.
